Plagiarism is considered by the JSSAHERM as an act of
intellectual and academic dishonesty and shall, under no circumstances, be accepted or
tolerated.
It applies to all works carried out by students in
connection with their programme of study where the student represents or intends to
represent the work carried out by another person as his own work, whether intentionally
or by inadvertence.
The JSSAHERM reserves the right to use, or not to use,
any appropriate tools and techniques for determining the extent of plagiarism on any
work submitted by a student and to refer any student suspected of committing plagiarism
to the relevant disciplinary committees for taking appropriate actions.
It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that
all work and sources which are not his own are properly acknowledged and referenced in
the work submitted.
